The original design for Operate was used for three years. Based on a Möbius strip with three sections, it echoed the popular nanodot style.
The hero redux (below) was built to convey a specific abstract concept through animation. As the two-sided strip rotates in playful Escher-like fashion, it shows how Operate leverages humans and technology as two sides of the same coin. Or in this case, two sides of the same ribbon.
